Your series ends by pointing to what we often forget to say out loud:

Victory isn’t just about what happens now. It’s about what carries on after us. Modernity chops life into fragments, forgetting to plant for the long season ahead. Scripture tells a different story. Abraham never saw the full promise, Moses never stepped into the land, but both laid the ground for those who came after.

Reforming yourself, leading wisely, building something that lasts, these aren’t just for today but so your children and grandchildren inherit something real. I think of Psalm 127:

1 Unless the Lord builds the house,

the builders labor in vain.

Unless the Lord watches over the city,

the guards stand watch in vain.

2 In vain you rise early

and stay up late,

toiling for food to eat—

for he grants sleep to those he loves.

3 Children are a heritage from the Lord,

offspring a reward from him.

4 Like arrows in the hands of a warrior

are children born in one’s youth.

5 Blessed is the man

whose quiver is full of them.

Exactly brother, we need to deny ourselves of the temptation of doing good in the hopes that we can see the fruits of our work. Maybe we never will. That's a beautiful Psalm too, thank you for sharing.

I constantly teach this on my platforms. On YouTube, where I have nearly 100,000 subscribers made up of a mix of prepper and survival-minded people, I tell them all the time that the most overlooked part of preparedness is physical fitness and health. Every time I say it, the comments go quiet. I quit an incredible career as a contractor for Naval Special Warfare because I felt God calling me to buy land and use it to grow and bless my community. Yet when I open my land and gym to the public for free, very few people show up. I do have a group of men and a group of young men that I text the weekly workouts to and they do it. I want that number to grow because it’s so important.

Even in my survival classes, once we add physical fitness into the mix, many people struggle even some of the younger ones who look fit from the outside. It’s always encouraging when I get messages from people saying how grateful they are that I keep emphasizing the fitness side of preparedness. Some of them have turned their health around completely. One man even lost 100 pounds. That’s incredible motivation and discipline.

We talk so much about gear, skills, and mindset, but none of it matters if your body fails you when it matters most. I tell my group what matters is that we’re trying to become physically, mentally, and spiritually stronger daily.

What's your channel brother? I'd love to subscribe.

And yeah, I completely agree. Not only it's important, but it's possibly the easiest aspect to neglect in our post modern era. It's way too easy to let your physical health and fitness degenerate nowadays.

That’s for sure. It’s On Three Survival https://youtu.be/1BLSMmyVaiw?si=rEqJKnSYboHihM-E

Thanks for the post. Please note that the Marxist/feminist war is against ALL men, not just Christian men.

Glad you liked it brother. And yes, absolutely true.

Hi I am Protestant considering becoming Catholic and going through OCIA currently. However, like most Protestants, I don’t understand the Mary stuff. I look up to Mary. She is obviously the coolest Christian to have ever lived, the one most honored by Christ/The Father/The Holy Spirit (and honored by each in a unique way via the incarnation), the first one to take His body and blood into her own body. She’s (respectfully) the O.G. for sure. But in mentioning the weapons we Christians wage war with, you said one of them was devotion to Mary. I just don’t understand. Why? Like…what does that actually do for you that devotion to Christ doesn’t do…and doesn’t do more powerfully? What exactly constitutes devotion to Mary? What is the substance of that?

Anyway, great blog post, as always. Thanks for writing!

Hi Rachel! Thanks for your comment and glad to hear that. I definitely understand what you mean, I struggled with that very same topic during my own conversion process. I'd recommend reading Scott Hahn's book "Rome Sweet Home", and also here's an article I wrote about the Mary question: https://simplemen.substack.com/p/is-love-a-limited-resource. Hope they help and God bless you! I'll keep you in my prayers and I appreciate your support and encouragement

This is profound and so needed for our men to step into becoming godly, masculine leaders. THANK YOU!!! It would be incredible to have a roundtable on this with men who are yearning to step into this level of devotion, service, and submission to God's design and His orders to us! The Lord builds us and builds through us - which is inherently dependent on our capacity to know and love Him.

Thank you for reading Sasha, I appreciate your support and encouragement! I completely agree, it's very important to have such groups to discuss these topics

You just spelt out my goals and what I want to live for.

Thanks for this article, you deserve to be compensated for this.

God bless, Mary keep you.
