I think the other commenter meant that the St Michael’s prayer had eliminated as a regular prayer after Low Masses after V2. Many Catholics do not know the prayer.
Mr. black Fox... let me clarify. The current Saint Michael prayer is a shortened version of the original. The original is significantly longer and specifically states satan is in the Papacy. It used to be included in the missal until around the 1960s. I wrote it into an article since many people dont know it.
Thanks for having the courage to speak truth with love.
My own experience has been that knowing Jesus is to know Christian masculinity. Gentle when needed. Sharp and assertive when needed. Leading with courage always. But always knowing the scope of his authority and responsibility.
Thank you for reading and for the kind words Dan. Really appreciate it and completely agree. There is no real masculinity if there is not a genuine effort to imitate Christ. God bless brother!
The lgbtq issue has created a political schism in all Christian denominations that has broken many congregations. Each church feels the need to pick a side in this ideological issue that pollutes any meaningful debate of scripture. This alone shows that sin has invaded the religion. It is very frustrating to shop for churches and have to probe the political ideals of a congregation to gage its commitment to scripture. Some denominations are more transparent than others but you don’t know until you ask or see the flags show up out of blue.
Yeah, it's not good. However, the good news is that as Catholics we do have a normative, infallible authority, the Magisterium, which can guide us clearly. Even though priests and members of the clergy can choose to take sides which oppose the official doctrine of the Church, the official doctrine remains firm in the Truth.
I'll add this too: When you repent you have to do something very important, which is to admit you were wrong. You have to accept that alone you are weak and lost, and you have to come to God with enough humility to say "I've been wrong". If you're committing adultery you have to start with admitting you're wrong. If you've been living gay you have to admit you're wrong. That's the crux, that's what hardly any of them would ever do. Not only would they not repent of living a gay lifestyle, they would double down in that sin in all of their pride. I mean it's right there in their slogan! Pride pride pride. Pride for what? Only living for yourself and damning your soul to hell?? Yeah, be really proud about that.
Women cannot be pastors/priests, and gays should only be allowed in church if they're there to repent. Being a gay Christian is like being married with 4 lovers on the side, you're just doing it wrong and you're obviously not really invested. Everyone is welcome in the church, everything from addicts to career criminals, but you come to the church to know Christ, and through knowing Christ you deny yourself, die to your sins, and become reborn in Him, and you do all of this by REPENTANCE. Without repentance there is no grace and there is no relationship! Simply miming the words that you accept Jesus is not enough. You're either in His grace and He/The Spirit lives in you, or someone lied to you or you're lying to yourself. No, I'm not the warm and fuzzy kind of Christian everyone expects, I'm more the calling out sin and hypocrisy to it's face kind (and despite what many say, that is STILL being "Christ like" because He in fact did just that). I get it isn't politically correct to say these things, but THAT'S THE PROBLEM. Why do we care about being politically correct and coddling sin MORE THAN rejecting sin and judging "righteously"?
Galatians 1:10 NIV
[10] Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
If anyone wants to hop on here and "call me out" or "set me straight" for being "unchristian" don't waste your breath. I've heard from weak and fake Christians who only go to church for warm and fuzzy feelings, or who worship a god that only exists in their head, or who flat out think the entire Bible just says "Be nice all the time, and never judge anyone ever". I don't believe you, I don't care what you think, and the only flase Christian here would be you.
this is why they redacted the full Saint Michael prayer, because Saint Michael the Archangel tells us the Church has been infiltrated.
I didn’t know that, what’s the full St. Michael prayer?
Wrote it up just for you

Brilliant, thank you Elias
@Simple Man - Do you truly not know the St Michael’s prayer?
Of course I know it. He said the full version had been redacted. That I didn’t know.

I am not trying to be argumentative, but I would call it the passive invitation of the church
That’s a good name too
Very apropos for our feminized times. Couldn’t agree more.
Thanks for reading brother, glad you agree 🤝

Say it again and again
