It’s narcissism and self help masked as something you’re doing for someone else. But if family time or service is replaced by meal prepping or whatever, then I feel we’ve lost the plot. I could be wrong but it’s been nagging at me lately and my actual motivations needed to be challenged

Additionally, the Song of Roland code emphasized virtues such as fearing God, serving one’s lord, protecting widows and orphans, speaking the truth, and respecting the honor of women. Modern interpretations often distill these into core values like Prowess, Justice, Loyalty, Defense, Courage, Faith, Humility, and Largesse.
This is timely. Continuing to try to wrap my mind around what this looks like. I am learning I love fitness. I'm asking the Lord how to meaningfully incorporate that into my kingdom life.
