I really like this post - I think so many Catholic Men do not realize how attached they are to alcohol. It's really not healthy the way a lot of ppl consume alcohol.
The point about not consuming in front of children is also great.
Completely agree brother, I think most men in general are way too attached to alcohol. It's become the norm to be borderline alcoholic. Only acceptable to enjoy a drink every once in a while if you know for sure you have it 100% under control.
A long time ago, I had a single beer at a party before I was 21. We got busted. I had to attend an alcohol education class.
In that class I learned what an alcoholic actually is. The bar is far lower than most realize. Meaning many men, Catholic men included, are alcoholics - not just borderline
I hope many more will realize this and adjust their lives.
You have solved the problem I had with alcohol in one fell swoop, from now on I will try to handle this issue in this way. Thanks for the advice
Glad to be of service king! God bless

Love that things like Exodus 90 exist.
