This past Saturday, I married the woman I love. We’ve come a long way in the 5 years that I’ve been writing about masculinity, and it’s crazy to look back and see how much I’ve changed, how many of you have become my friends, and how providential God has been throughout it all.
I feel profoundly grateful. Grateful to God, who brought her into my life at exactly the right moment and in exactly the right way. Grateful to her, for saying yes to my proposal and for being the supportive, kind, faithful woman I had always dreamed to marry. And grateful to all of you, whose support of this project over the years has made it possible for me to pursue the vocation I believe God has called me to and be able to support my now growing family.
Just wanted to give you a heads up that there will be no articles this week. We are currently on our honeymoon (this post was scheduled beforehand), and for once I am taking my own advice about putting down the phone and being present to what is in front of me. We’ll go back to our regular schedule next week!
Finally, if you have been thinking about supporting Ad Aeternum, now is a particularly meaningful moment to do so. A paid subscription or a one-time donation or wedding gift goes directly toward sustaining the work I’m doing and, as of this week, towards building and providing for my family. There is a donation link below if you feel moved to contribute, and it would mean more than I can say.
Donate or send us a gift here: https://donate.adaeternum.com/
Become a paid subscriber here: https://www.adaeternum.com/subscribe
Thank you for being part of this and see you all next week! Please keep us in your prayers.
Ad Maiora Nati Sumus,
Juan
