People behave as they do, often because of what they believe.
I know one person whose Christian Counselor told him sex of fine as long as it’s not with someone prostituting themself. So, this set up a confusion. 1 Corinthians 6
I do not know how to counter this, but at the time, i was worried for that person, maybe the coubselir was too, so tried to free him, so he could learn to be free.
I think with men it is difficult. It’s also difficult in the world in which we live. I used to see my boys take muscle drinks and like the puffed up way it made them feel, big muscles.
Then I began to realize it was often in our coffee, tea, foods…., a great perverter?
And hormones at certain ages make this Even more difficult.
Learning to change one’s focus is good, but we still need a clear picture of GOD’s POV. Thanks for yours!
John 7:17; Hebrews 4:12-16, can help us discernnour motives. Then let’s realize GOD’s agape is patient, and practice it, prayerfully. Some habits are harder to break than others, but see Colossians 2:16-3:5….
