What a great lesson. It resonates a lot with me. My struggle is making sales. And the more I avoid going out & taking action to sell, the closer I am to sin. Not lust, but another sin.
That hit straight to the heart. I went to war back in 2007 but was quickly disillusioned by man's war. While I temporarily found a Christian calling and purpose life has a way of pulling us away. The current state of the world makes it difficult to find that purpose or calling and yet you hit the nail on the head when you mentioned cowardice. One of King Sauls greatest sins was not trusting God and waiting for guidance when God wanted him to act. I have felt like Saul many times. May we all find a calling and battlefield that resonates to he heart or we will indeed be consumed by our idle hands and empty hearts. Great article!
