How To (Actually) Make Money Online (Part 1)
A step-by-step in-depth guide.
Okay so you want to start an online business.
You see all the online business owners online living dream lives and you want the same, so bad, for yourself.
You see them posting pictures in beautiful places on a random Tuesday while on your 10 minute break from your 9 to 5.
I understand how appealing that life is, and how strong the desire to live it. I was in the exact same place as you are 2 years ago.
The thing that kickstarted my personal journey to financial and location freedom was reading the 4-hour workweek by Tim Ferris. By that time I wasn't too deep into the online thing, and I didn't really know that so many men had been able to build online businesses and buy their ticket to time and location freedom.
But that book opened my eyes to the fact that a better life was possible. And just like you, I started dreaming of it. 2 years later, that dream life is now a reality. I quit my 9 to 5 and don't ever have to answer to a boss again. I live wherever I want and work on my own time, and only in thigns that I find meaningful, engaging, and fulfilling.
This will be a long series of articles, and the goal of it is to give you the tools you need to get your online business started. And just as importantly, to motivate you to take action and stop postponing your dreams.
For this first introductory email, I want to give you some simple advice that is critical that you follow if you don’t want to be one of the many thousands that dream but never actually accomplish:
1) Realize you don't need to know everything to get started
I have talked to so many of you who want to start an online business and “how do i even start” is one of the questions I get asked about the most. And I always answer the same thing: just START.
Choose some topic that interests you and start creating content about it. Write, make images, videos, whatever. Don't get too caught up in the quality of the content, you'll figure it out as you go.
Stop "planning" and waiting until you find all the answers. You won't. The answers only reveal themselves to those bold enough to get started. The most important thing is to get past the initial fear of putting yourself out there. If you don't do that, you'll never build an online business.

2) Commit to it or don't commit at all
Second mistake most make (after not even starting) is that they are so entitled that they want to see results NOW. They post 3 tweets, 2 instagram posts, and expect to be millionaires instantly. When they aren't, they get discouraged and quit.
Bro, I don't know what the other gurus have told you, but this shit takes time. Like any worthwhile endeavor, it won't happen overnight. If you're not ready to do this day after day, even when you are busy, even when you feel like shit, and even when you feel lost and uncertain, save yourself some time and effort and don't even start.
It took me 14 months to earn one dollar online. 2 months later I was outearning my 9 to 5.
Nothing happens until everything happens. That's the reality of this. Commit fully to this project or don't commit at all. Half measures are for losers, and quitting is for losers too.
3) It IS possible
Finally, many hold the limiting belief that this isn't even possible. That you have to be special to make it. And you do need to be special. But not because you were born with a specific talent, but because you have to be relentless and committed, something that most aren’t. The only skill that is required to make it work is consistency and patience.
Realize that this is possible. Otherwise you won't ever truly try your best.
It will take time, yes. You will doubt yourself at times, yes. But you will get there if you don't quit. And oh boy, is it worth it.
