January’s Product of The Month: Primal Glow Skincare

My confession: I have NEVER before used any kind of skincare product. I’m one of those men that is very skeptical about using anything on his skin, not only because I believe most products for that purpose are terrible for your health, but because I also think keeping things natural is always better.
I came across Primal Glow Skincare through Instagram, because I’ve been a long time follower and good friend of the owner of the brand, Wouter, from @time.2be.better.
I was one of the first people who got to try Wouter’s Skin Balm, made exclusively from natural ingredients, and I absolutely loved the product. Like I said, before this product I didn’t use absolutely anything on my skin, but I am now a fan and very disciplined user of Primal Glow. It’s the only product I’ve come across that’s actually a net positive on my skin.
Okay so a couple of things that I love about this product:
All-natural: Not “almost” all natural, but 100% all-natural. It has 2 ingredients: Beef tallow, and olive oil. Some variants have essential oils, honey and beeswax to give a nice fresh smell (I personally use the sweet orange one and it’s great). You’re not applying cancerous chemicals or shady formulas onto your skin, but just the rawest and most pure natural moisturizers.
Actually good for you: Unlike most skin products, this is a product that helps keep your skin in good conditions, instead of making it drier and unhealthier over the long term.
Incredibly affordable: One tin can with the product contains about 90ml. If you are anything like me, you would have no idea how long that lasts for a skincare product (I thought it would last a few weeks lol). I have been using the balm daily for over 5 months and am about halfway through. It lasts for a long time, because you are not really using a ton daily. Of course it depends on how you use it, but I think a good estimate is that it’ll last you anywhere between 8-12 months. It’s around $45 for one tin can, so that’s under $5/month. And bear in mind this is literally ALL you need skincare-wise. Not a bad deal at all if you ask me.
Solid owner and company: There’s a lot of sleazy mfers out there trying to scam you out of your money. Wouter is not one of them. The man is as solid as they come. His business is legit, and I know firsthand how hard he’s worked to make this the incredible product that it is.
Most chemically charged moisturizers and skincare products do way more harm than good. They dry up your skin in the long term, cause a lot of other issues, and are just plain unhealthy. Not Primal Glow.
Tallow is the ultimate moisturizer because it closely resembles the natural oils found in your skin, making it a product that far outperforms other moisturizers in its effectiveness. But it's more than just a moisturizer. It can be used as a night cream, wrinkle cream, or for the inflamed and damaged skin.
Just so you see how much of a fan I am, I literally have my mom using this. I got her to drop all her skin creams for this brand and she’s been loving it.
All in all, I give this product a solid 10/10. I use it personally, have had great results with it, it’s completely natural, the man behind it is as solid as they come, and it’s incredibly affordable. You literally cannot go wrong with it.
