I love the clarity that comes from seeking first God's kingdom! To the degree we listen, hear well, discern, and respond to God's invitation to join him in what's he's already doing, our efforts align with those of the Creator of the universe.
I'm reminded that each of has the opportunity and responsibility to notice 'right things' and do our part to pull in the direction that leads to deeper relationship with God.
If you're reading Ad Aeternum, God is probably calling you to a masculinity that's closer to his divine intention, to the hard (but joyful) work of aligning your heart with his, and ultimately to eternity.
For me, part of this is directing financial resources to where they do Good. Each of us has the opportunity to ask God about how he'd like us to interact with Juan and Ad Aeternum. My personal realization is that by increasing my financial participation, I'm lengthening the lever he's given Juan to speak the truth in love for the benefit of the men who respond, the people who know them.
Not everyone is called to this, but we are all called to be good stewards of what we've been given. Please check in with God on what this looks like for you!
Can't tell you how much I appreciate your comment Dan, and your continued support. It really means more thank you know and it goes a long way in supporting myself, my family, and this project. May God bless you abundantly my friend 🙏🏻
Guys, there's no war on Christian men. There's a reality that you must face...and that is you unconsciously inflict on women subtle dominations you expect them to accept...and they don't want to accept them!
Instead of understanding this and using it as a tool to suss out your character flaws assigned by, not the worship of God and Christ, but by Christian cultural constructions, you think the world is out to get you.
You are spoiled and a bit narcissistic about these things. What's more is that you are unwilling to adapt to equality, and we are all equal under Christ.
No one is making you have pornography addictions, no one is tempting you, no one is declaring war on you. There exists a requirement that you stop actualizing who you are at the expense of those around you.
For far too long, men have determined their value based on the deactialization of women. Think about it, stop making excuses, and stop determining your masculinity based on others.
Thank you for this inspiring post.
Glad you liked it brother, God bless you!
Thank you for writing this. It was really helpful for me as I’m in the same position.
That's good to hear, Rich. Thank you for reading brother, God bless you!
Glory to God for all things. Virtue is given as a path of communion, where the soul learns freedom through grateful dependence.
Amen brother.
